Current Rates (effective 1/1/2012)

The minimum rate of the first 2,000 gallons for a one month billing period is $14.08
The rate for all consumption over 2,000 gallons is $4.35 per 1,000 gallons
The regulatory fee is $.22 per customer per billing period

  service calls include the following (each occurrence):      
       - Meter removal   Cost of removing meter for non-payment or at customer's request  
       - Reinstall meter   For reinstallation of meter  
       - Turn-on/Turn-off meter   For routine trips to customer meter to turn service on or off  
       - Meter damage   Labor rate for repairing meter plus material cost  
       - Temporary account transfer   Transfer of accounts for renters, landlords, realtors, owners  
6 Late Payment Cut-on (afterhours) $80 Customer request cut-on after hours when cut-offs completed, $35 lock fee will be added also. 12/21/07
7 Reactivation Service Fee  $50 Reactivate an account that is dormant  (service call included)  
8 Backflow Preventor Testing     6 inch or less $200 Fee only applies if owner fails to have device tested

     - all commercial establishments calculated based on max. daily use x $1.85 per gallon (DHEC Contrib. Loadings)  
     - irrigation taps none unless irrigation water is guaranteed to be available  
      *Capacity is assigned by parcel or per unit, non-transferrable  
         
18 Bulk Water Fee (from fire hydrant)      
     - permanent water filling station (one day permit; includes 5,000 gals) $50 Contractors only - 1 day limit - 3 filling locations - see Hydrant Use Policy 12/21/07
     - permanent water filling station (14 day permit; includes 10,000 gals) $75 Contractors only - 14 day limit - 3 filling locations - see Hydrant Use Policy 12/21/07
